Marlene Koncewicz, born in Connecticut in 1984, discovered her passion for the arts while studying at Central Connecticut State University, where she explored the integration of classical mediums into today’s evolving digital culture. Her academic journey also included studying local plant life in Connecticut, as well as pursuing photography at Tunxis Community College in Farmington, Connecticut and Prescott College in Prescott, Arizona. These experiences laid the foundation for her multifaceted approach to art.

Now based in Athens, Georgia, Marlene is an artist whose work reflects a deep engagement with repurposed materials, unconventional forms, and storytelling through various mediums.

In the evenings Marlene likes to play bass with her husband in their experimental ambient project RiverOnyx.
